Give a gift unlike any other -- a one-month experience of the harp! Gift packages include four harp lessons and a one-month harp rental. A music stand, lesson book, and tuning key are included.

How to purchase a gift certificate:
- Fill out this form with your information, your desired package, and the date you want to deliver your gift.
- I will respond to confirm availability. If available, I will email an invoice.
- Upon receipt of payment, I will reserve a rental harp for your recipient for the month immediately following your planned date of gift delivery. (See below for more details.)
- You will receive a gift certificate to present to your recipient, including details of the gift and instructions for redemption. If you choose digital delivery, I will email a printable certificate within 24 hours of your payment. If you choose mail delivery, I will mail the certificate to you (or to your recipient, as requested).

- No! Anyone can start harp lessons, including those who have no music-reading skill. When your recipient redeems their gift certificate, I will learn a little about their music background and will choose an appropriate lesson book for them.
Is this just for kids? Do you teach adults?
- Learning to play the harp can be a rewarding and enjoyable process at any stage of life!
- I teach many adult students, including those with no prior musical experience.
- I don't teach students younger than first grade, due to hand and body size.
Which package should I choose?
- 30-minute lessons are a good choice for elementary-age students and for older students with little or no music background.
- 45-minute lessons are a good choice for middle-school-age and older students who read music well. 30-minute lessons are also an option for this group.
When and where are lessons held?
- Lessons are at my home studio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- When your recipient redeems their gift certificate, I will discuss scheduling options with them. My openings are limited, but I have weekday, evening, and weekend options.
How will my recipient get the rental harp?
- For recipients who live in or near Cedar Rapids, I will deliver the harp personally to their home and pick it up from them at the end of the month.
- For recipients whose home is a significant distance from Cedar Rapids, I will provide instructions on how they can transport the harp home with them at their first lesson. My rental harps fit in almost any vehicle.
Will my recipient be asked for a security deposit?
- No, there will be no security deposit required for the rental harp (or any other cost to your recipient.)
- I will require your recipient to sign a document showing instructions for keeping the harp safe, dates of the rental term, and a commitment to return the harp at the end of the rental term.
Is a gift certificate transferrable?
- Yes, your recipient may pass the certificate on to someone else if they wish. There will be a unique code with each certificate, which may only be redeemed once.
Does the gift certificate need to be used right away?
- No -- but I will only reserve the rental harp for the calendar month immediately following your planned delivery date. For example, if you plan to deliver your gift on Christmas, I will reserve a rental harp for you for the month of January. If you plan to deliver your gift on Valentine's Day, I will reserve a rental harp for you for the month of March.
- If your recipient would prefer to redeem the certificate at a later time, that's fine! When they redeem the certificate, I will let them know if a rental harp is available. If not, they will go on a waiting list, and I will let them know when one becomes available.
- You and your recipient are always welcome to reach out to discuss questions about scheduling and the timing of gift redemption. It's quite possible that I will have flexibility.
Do gift certificates expire?
- No, gift certificates have no expiration date.
